[/blockquote][/blockquote]history;; On October seventh of nineteen ninety-one, a baby was born to a family known for producing rich babies who go onto bigger, better things, though it's the main branch of the family that holds the most power and wealth. Politicians, musicians, artists, athletes, most of the Lionfords in the world have some sort of fame that labels them as a somebody. Reeda was born to the main branch and was designated heiress of the family's fame, fortune, and prestige when she was deemed responsible enough to handle it without being an utter disgrace. In fact, she was brought up and raised all her life for this one special position. Being in the main branch of the family meant being where the most influence was, and this influence increased whenever the branch was able to absorb lesser power from lesser branches. For as long as Reeda could remember, she was trained specifically to inherit this role. Though born in London, when she reached the tender age of five, her family moved to Paris, France, a place deemed appropriate to prepare her for what she was destined to become.
While her parents focused on her preparation, her younger sister Ariana was mostly pampered and left free of any sort of responsibilities. Because she wasn’t expected to become the head of the family, there wasn’t as much of a need to give her a strict upbringing, giving her the ability to do as she pleased, though much of this time was spent looking up to Reeda and idolizing her.
Despite her dislike for the lack of freedom she had, Reeda did rise up to expectations with straight A's, being captain of clubs and teams, popularity, and really, she was the golden girl. Unfortunately, there was always a sense of rebellion that constantly got her in trouble when she picked fights, though this rebellion doesn’t become an issue until she grows older.
It's hard to really explain what happened next because to be honest, there was no reasoning behind what occurred. While the pampered heiress continued to keep up appearances with her many achievements, her parents couldn't ignore the fact that she created her own secret life of sorts where she did as she pleased. That side of her rebelled against their every rule and crushed the hopes of the ideal daughter. Though there was the constant urge to yell and scream until she shaped up, her parents bit their tongues simply because they decided that she was not ignorant nor foolish, as shown through the evident knowledge she had that appearances were important to keep as she continued to play her role of the perfect child. The older Lionfords simply expected her to abandon her ridiculous notions of rebellion as she hit her teenage years and to promote this maturation, they moved out of Paris and back to London when she was thirteen. Unfortunately, she made one fatal mistake that pushed her parents over the edge.
At her sweet sixteen, Reeda experimented with alcohol and unintentionally got drunk, and that set her up for ruin. She was a rather attractive teen, and she couldn't make proper judgments while her senses were botched up by the alcohol in her system, and ultimately, she was taken advantage of. When a sixteen year old girl wakes up from a party the next morning with a hangover and notices that she's naked, then it's fairly easy to connect the dots to figure out that while drunk, some random stranger strolled along and stole her virginity and then up and left before he got caught. The one incident set in motion a pregnancy scare, which Reeda eventually informed her parents of, but the results were disastrous. Now firmly believing that their child was not improving in behavior, Alexander and Janice officially labeled the young girl as uncontrollable and decided that they needed to break her before allowing her to take over the position as head of the Lionford family.
Perhaps the idea is a bit illogical to some, but the duo decided to send her to America, forcing her away from the comfort of being in close contact with the influential, powerful family and giving her a limited allowance, though they checked up on her daily. They hoped that giving her a taste of the harshness of reality would shape her into a more responsible young woman. While attending high school in New York, she was required to return home during each break from school so that she would be reminded of her origins and wouldn't become "Americanized". Upon seeing a bit of improvement, the two decided to keep her in America for a bit longer, though at age twenty, Reeda found herself in Hollywood. At first disapproving of the sudden move, her parents gradually accepted her decision to move and decided to make the most of it by using their connections to get her a job as an agent, thinking that she could use the experience to develop her skills in management, organization, and leadership in preparation for when she took up her job as an heiress. As expected, they continue to keep close tabs on her, and meanwhile, she's learning to get a full grasp of being an agent. Despite her remarks claiming otherwise, she finds that the career is rather intriguing, enjoying the hands-on learning experience she receives from interacting with various sorts of people. Admittedly she's not the best agent around, but at the very least she's learning rather quickly and improving at the job, considering her headstrong, pushy ways can often be useful in regards to having tasks completed according to her whim and convenience.
So, do you enjoy your job as an agent?
Does it actually matter whether I enjoy the job or not? I mean, people have to work for a living, and I bet half the people in the world hate their jobs, but they do it anyway.
Okay…then…what would you bring if you were stranded on a deserted island?
A cell phone with worldwide Internet access. That way I can call someone to save me and then have something to do while I wait to be saved.
Are you interested in anyone romantically?
Is my personal life any of your business?
Uhm…would you ever date anyone you’re working for or with?
No. That’s unprofessional, and if you ever break up with the person, can you imagine how awkward that would be?
What’s your goal for the future?
I plan to retire early and wallow in my riches like a spoiled brat.
