Thanks guys, for all of the good luck wishes. My move to LA was successful, and I'm finally all unpacked. The apartment is exactly like I pictured and I can't wait to put up some pictures so you all can see it. I already have two auditions set up for tomorrow and I had a call back earlier today. So here's how that went: I walk into the studio, and first of all, these bitches had me waiting, I know, at least and hour. So when they finally call me in, of course, they don't know how to pronounce my fuggin name. The man called me like brah-lay or some thing. It's BRY-LEE. I don't get how that's so difficult. But anyway, I go in, and here I am in front of the camera, and they have me do a cold reading from Running with Scissors as Natalie. Of course they gave me her most dramatic scene in the whole damn movie. But it's what ev, just because I know that movie like the back of my hand. So then the direct is sitting in observing, and he's like...eyeing me through my whole audition. So I go back into the changing rooms for my outfit change for a practice commercial they had me do, and this ass hole comes in my changing room and he gets hella fuckin close and is just like "I see a lot of potential in you Bry," and then he touches. My hair. So here he is like stroking my hair and is just like "don't let me down." So what do I do? Nod like a good girl and finish changing....I need this part. But I can tell you. If they call me tomorrow, I will not be looking forward to working with him :/ Mew 3:

Interview with E!: Young Starlets of 2011
Interviewer: Nice, to see you again Bryleigh, welcome back to the studio
Bryleigh Hughes: -taking a seat- Nice to see you too Robert, thank you guys for having me again.
Interviewer: Now, for our viewers out there who don't know who you are, why don't you introduce yourself and tell us where your from?
BH: -turning directly to the camera grinning brightly- Hi, my name is Bryleigh Joanna Hughes, and I'm from Tacoma, Washington.
Interviewer: Right and how old are you?
BH: I'll be 20 this coming May.
Interviewer: -nods- Very nice. Getting up there, huh?
BH: -laughs, beaming a wide smile- Oh, I've got plenty of time
Interviewer: Now, where do we know your face from?
BH: Well I've had plenty of supporting roles in movies with actors like Logan Lerman, Channing Tatum, I got to play opposite him once, which was really exciting, and uhm just a lot of big dogs like Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis, and Denzel Washington. And I've had lead roles in movies like Invisible Monsters, Sucker Punch 2, and Malice in Underland, I got to play a like -wrinkles her nose smirking- deviant mental patient in that one, so that was really fun.
Interviewer: Wow, so you've got quite a few achievements. Impressive. So how did all of this start for you?
BH: Well I was born into a little bit of money so I was always kind of up there with influential people, but you know, nothing too noticeable, and -widens eyes- wow I guess it just mainly started with watching the Oscars as a little, little girl with my mother and seeing all the gorgeous women in their pretty gowns and saying oh "Mommy, I wanna be like them when I grow up." You know, every little girl's fantasy. But my parents took that seriously and put me in theatre and acting classes for everything from drama to commercial acting. I was in all my high school plays, got set up with agents and by my senior year I had a few appearances in some commercials and sitcoms and I guess you could say it took off from there.
Interviewer: So you've been at this, practically your whole life.
BH: -grins, nodding- Yeah.
Interviewer: Wow! So outside of this, who are you?
BH: -smriks- You know it's funny, because people act like fame is supposed to toss like your entire life upside-down and create this whole new person. But really, as often as this is said, I am just a normal girl. I just recently moved to Los Angeles for work so there isn't much hanging out as of right now but -swallows- you know, back home, I lived a pretty normal life. I loved playing with my dogs Toad and Peach, -looking at the camera- little known fact: I'm obsessed with Nintendo! -looking back at Robert- I play guitar as a past time and I'm not too bad. Uhm, I love going shopping with my friends and watching Rugby games, and aside from drama club I was on my JV soccer team. You know, camera time doesn't change much -laughs, shifting in her seat- believe it or not. Out side of all this I'm pretty normal.

"This is who I really am"
Bryleigh Joanna Hughes, often called Bry, Bryleigh-Jo, or simply, Jo, was born and raised in Tacoma Washington by her mother, a celebrity therapist, and her father, who was a fashion industry executive. She lived in a quiet, opulent gated community in a three story model home with her brother, two years elder than she, and her two Maltese dogs. As she said, she lived a fairly normal life. However at age twelve her parents began to notice some periodic behavioural issues. Often times she'd lock herself in her room with her guitar for days on end and either sleep, or not speak when she was awake. After a brief discussion with her therapist mother, they concluded that she was bi-polar and prescribed her prozac, and thought no more of the issue. But that's not what Bryleigh wanted. She felt she could do without the medication and just wanted someone to talk to her. But frequently conversation with her parents would turn into "hush Bryleigh, and take your medication." At 13 she attempted suicide. And after a long stay in the psych ward, her parents boned up on more prozac, lithium, and other medications. It was then that she chose to keep her life private. To this day, Bryleigh still appears to be a happy healthy, normal girl, aside from her ongoing struggle with anorexia. The only time you may not to want to go looking for Bryleigh is when she tries to go off her medication.
